There has been a growing demand for quality horticulture fruit plants, seeds and seedlings among farmers, yet there are few agriculture-based Entrepreneurs. The “East-West Druk Shingthong Gonphel Nursery” was created by Ms. Sangay Cheki to supply a number of exotic and indigenous seeds and plants and meet the growing demands of farmers. The project also serves as a center for farmers to obtain technical assistance and advices on modern farming.
