Traditional healing practices using herbs are widely used in Bhutan. Benefits of herbal steam include detoxification, weight loss, relief of musle tension, and boosting the immune system. Raised in a supportive family skilled in traditional medicine, Kinley Wangmo started the Gadhen Herbal Home, located on the outskirts of Thimphu. It provides traditional herbal treatment services (bath, steam, and massage) to the general public and clients who cannot access the oversubscribed medical services of National Traditional Medicine Hospital.
