TRAINING

A business education programme, Loden
Start-up Training
helps build the capacity of young people. When Loden started the training, even the word ‘entrepreneurship’ was not much known in Bhutan. Thus, we coined ཚོང་རིག་ or intelligent business. Today, Bhutan is witnessing an ‘entrepreneurial movement spurred by Loden’ as the current Prime Minister would put it.
Our training consists of two components: inspirational and motivational sessions aimed at cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset, fostering innovation, and encouraging different ways of thinking, and sessions focused on practical business skills, such as bookkeeping, marketing, branding, surveying, and time and human resource management.
Today, we run an annual six-month-long Springboard Plus Seed Accelerator Programme in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Employment, and UNDP Bhutan. This program provides advanced support to early-stage entrepreneurs through intensive critical skills training, mentoring, and networking opportunities. Loden primarily oversees the critical skills training and mentoring components of the programme, ensuring that entrepreneurs receive the necessary tools and guidance to accelerate their business growth.
Furthermore, we conduct project-based training targeted at various key population groups, tailoring our programs to address the specific needs of different sectors within the community.
