Ugyen Tshomo is a bright student was awarded the best student of the year in her middle school. She was born and brought up in Trashiyangtse along with three other siblings. Raising four children solely through farming has put a lot of financial burden on the parents. However, Loden hopes that its scholarship will help and encourage Ugyen to continue her excellence and passion for learning.
