Hello! My name is Kinley Pem, and I am from Punakha. I completed my studies at The Royal Academy. I will be joining Royal Thimphu College, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. I grew up with my grandmother and my aunt ever since my parents got divorced. My father passed away when I was studying in 3rd grade so my two elder sisters and I grew up without a father figure in the family.

As a student, I always enjoyed studying social sciences, particularly History, Geography, and Economics and this passion for learning still stands strong. My wish to become a teacher is the reason I chose to pursue a BA in Economics.

I am very grateful for the scholarship I received from the Loden Foundation. With this scholarship, I can continue to nurture my passion and strive towards achieving my goals.
