Kaushila Thapa is from a remote village of Tshangkha in Dagana and has recently graduated from Drukjegang Central School. Her parents are farmers and selling vegetables is the main source of income for the family of eight children. Kaushila completed her high school with good marks but still it was not enough for her to get into a government college to pursue her dream job. Kaushila is passionate to become a nurse but her family cannot support any more expenses for her studies. She will study nursing and midwifery at Royal Thimphu College under Loden-RTC Scholarship.
