Loden SEED (Student Empowerment through Entrepreneurship Development) is an entrepreneurial education programme for college and school students. It is a unique opportunity to explore and develop the entrepreneurial potential of students enrolled in full time education.

SEED was conceived to extend the Loden Entrepreneurship Programme to colleges and schools. We believe in planting the seed of innovative thinking and entrepreneurial enthusiasm early in the education system by equipping students with basic business knowledge and skills. This early exposure to entrepreneurship ensures that students consider entrepreneurship as a viable career option.

Twice each year, we partner up with educational institutions across Bhutan to run 2-day training courses to explain the concepts and to enthuse young people to consider becoming entrepreneurs, the training is also aimed at people who may have started a small business but wish to grow it. The courses are run in all parts of Bhutan and are typically attended by up to 100 participants. Subjects covered include marketing, business strategy, accounting, preparing business plans and how to convert an idea into a business proposition.
