Loden SEED in TTIs and Zorig-Chu-Sum Institutions

Coinciding with the Zorig Day, Loden Foundation has launched a special programme called SEED (Student Empowerment through Entrepreneurship Development) on 4th may 2015 in Khuruthang and Samthang Technical Training Institutions. The programme was launched by hon’ble Minister for Labour and Human Resources by signing MoU between the Executive Director of the Loden Foundation and the principals of Khuruthang and Samthang TTIs.loden1loden2

This special programme was launched to commemorate the 60th birth anniversary of His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo Jigme Singye Wangchuk. Through this programme, Loden Foundation has offered grants of Nu 100,000 each both the TTIs to support student-let ventures within the campus. The programme aims to inculcate entrepreneurial skills and encourage entrepreneurship amongst the TTI graduates. Loden plans to expand the programme in all 10 Technical Training Institutions including Zorig-Chu-Sum Institutions in Thimphu and Tashi Yangtse by end of this month.
