On 6 August 2024, the President and the office of Loden Foundation received a delegation from South Korea led by Jing Ryong Yoo, former Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, Gi Hyung Keum, former Director General of Culture, and also current CEO, Director and members of Tourism Industry Division and International Tourism Forum. Ms Kim Min Kyeong, the President of Korea Bhutan Friendship Association also joined the team.
In addition to discussing past collaborations with ICHCAP in South Korea, the meeting explored new opportunities for promoting cultural tourism. The delegation returned for a follow-up meeting at Bodhitse on 9 August to further deliberate on the future partnership.
