As a graduate of Jigme Namgyel Engineering College with a degree in Surveying, Tshewang realized the limited number of opportunities available for graduates in this field of study given that each year only 5-6 out of 30 JNEC graduates get recruited. Most graduates with a surveying degree have to depend on the government for recruitment since there are limited private companies that seek surveying graduates. Tshewang is driven to put his skills and knowledge to work whilst also creating more job opportunities for people like him through BIS.
BIS provides cadastral survey and land transaction services to groups and individuals such as landowners, flat owners, Bhutanese expats, and construction companies. BIS has various customer reward programs available for both new and long-term clients.
