After working as a driver for private and non-governmental organizations for ten years, Tshering Dorji decided to start Kuenga Deki Automobile Workshop in Trashi Yangtse district. Before that, he had also worked as a mechanic at vehicle repair shops, which enabled him to gain further experiences and skills to help his community. Although Tshering’s village is remote, the rise in vehicles passing through his place motivated him to establish an automobile workshop with his staff. With this, he also aims to help the young people from his community by providing training and employing them at his workplace.
