Tenzin will provide kapchi (wheat flour) made from wheat grain from Khaling. Wheat flour is used for both consumption and religious offerings. Tenzin’s manufacturing house will provide employment opportunities within the locality.

Tenzin is from Khaling and is a graduate of Sherubtse College and intends to live and work in her village.

Tenzin is supported through the Loden-UNICEF Bhutan funding window. Loden Foundation in partnership with Youth Center Division of Department of Youth and Sports under the Ministry of Education and the UNICEF Bhutan conducts entrepreneurship training for out-of-school and unemployed youth each year and selects the best business ideas from the training.
