To mitigate the shortage of local farm produce and increased imports of basic commodities, Tashi Wangdi is keen on using his 6 years of experience in farming for filling the shortage of certain products in the local market whilst engaging young people in this project.
To meet the growing demand and the shortage of supply of products such as asparagus, strawberries and oyster mushrooms, Yewong Dumra is a 5 acre farm in Jalikhar, Bumthang dedicated solely to grow these products organically using modern technology.
