Druk Gift Basket Shop will produce gourmet gift baskets using a wide range of high-quality products. In addition to several flagship baskets, DGBS will offer custom baskets for which the customers will be allowed to choose the products. Utilizing her baking skills and business experience, Tandin hopes to sell premium gift baskets – which have not been widely sold in Bhutan thus far.
Tandin has experience in running grocery and restaurant businesses. She completed the baking training course provided by RENEW and UNDP Bhutan.
Tandin is supported through the Loden-UNDP COVID-19 Response Fund II that was targeted to provide livelihood skills and business support to vulnerable groups during the COVID-19 pandemic. This is a joint initiative between Loden Foundation, UNDP Bhutan, Bhutan YDF, and RENEW.
