Agricultural development programs encourage Bhutanese farmers to explore and reach beyond self-sufficiency by commercializing their products and using farming as a viable economic enterprise. “Yoedzer Farm Stay” is a family farm which also engages with rural-eco tourism and sells and displays indigenous ornamentals, vegetables and fruit crops for tourists. The farm is a model for small Bhutanese farmers who which to ensure their sustainable livelihoods through farming.
