Kiwi farming is relatively new in Bhutan. “Norbu Kiwi and Horticulture Farm” produces and sells kiwis and other cultivated goods on the local market at a comparatively lower price than imported products. The farm is a marketing model for new agribusinesses in Bhutan and is providing a new trend in Bhutanese eating habits. The farm additionally has great potential as a possible source for exports.
