At Japan’s Institute of Community Design, she received training for a project to develop rural enterprises and community entrepreneurial capacity. Yaata Noodle is a well-known business and the only locally produced Noodle in Thimphu’s Wangsisina village, Mewang Gewog. Phuntsho intends to revive Bhutanese cuisine’s dwindling legacy. She also plans to export locally-produced noodles in the near future.

Single women run this proposed business, and Phuntsho aims to empower women and differently-abled people by providing employment opportunities, hoping they can one day lead their own life with their very own ideas.
