Pema Tshoki, a Motithang High School graduate with a business background, interned as a painter and salesperson at Tertoen Gallery in 2018. She also worked as a freelance model for Tertoen Travels Bhutan in 2012 and as a film liaison in 2018, and later co-founded Gen Sum Pasta in Wangbama, Genekha Thimphu, with her three siblings to reduce pasta imports and supply high-quality local pasta. The company currently produces Fusilli, Macaroni, and Elbow Pasta, with plans to expand to Spaghetti and Penne Pasta. Gen Sum Pasta aims to support Bhutan's economy and promote national food security.
