Nidup Zangmo lives in Khoma, a small hamlet near Lhuntse at the epicentre of Bhutan's rich textile culture" I have been weaving since i was a kid and becoming a handloom entrepreneur is a dream coming true". Khoma is well known for its colorful and intricate textiles including the notoriously expansive kishuthara. Nidup Zangmo is proud of being able to maintain this tradition. "I fell so privileged that i wove a gho to be offered to His Majesty our king", she says. Besides running a weaving business she also trains other woman.
