Karma holds a PGDFM from the Royal Institute of Management. From 2013 to 2017, Karma worked as a Finance Officer at Ugyen Trading House. From 2017 to 2019, he was also the General Manager of Bhutan Union Pharmaceutical and Medical Supplies.
Druk Yul Production is an eco-friendly manufacturing unit specializing in biodegradable bags and sacks. Druk Yul, established in December 2018, is in Pakharshing, Chhukha. Karma set up the manufacturing unit to reduce the environmental threat of plastic bag pollution and to replace plastic bags with locally manufactured bio-degradable bags and sacks.
Karma’s vision is to provide packaging solutions to Bhutan by 2024 and be an eco-friendly manufacturer with an efficient and dependable manufacturing unit.
