Chhukha Farmers’ Group- Farmers’ Sales Outlet
Chhukha Farmer’s Cooperative, with 32 members from 11 gewogs in Chhukha Dzongkhag. The Farmer’s Sales Outlet serves as a bridge, fostering market linkages for Chhukha Dzongkhag farmers by adding value to their produce. Established in 2021 with World Bank support, its Farmer’s Sales Outlet in Gedu village offers farm and livestock products, along with local cuisine for travelers.
Managed by chairperson Devika Chhetri, the outlet reinvests 2% of proceeds into the cooperative. Upcoming plans include acquiring packaging equipment, implementing digital marketing strategies with expert partners, and hiring two employees within six months, aligning with grant conditions.
