The Loden Foundation is pleased to introduce the Bhutan Socio-economic Forum (BSeF), a platform for inclusive dialogue on Bhutan’s economic landscape, designed to address the nation’s structural challenges while honoring its unique Gross National Happiness (GNH) philosophy. The forum will unite policymakers, economists, development partners, entrepreneurs, and civil society to collaboratively shape Bhutan’s path toward sustainable and inclusive economic growth.

While Bhutan has achieved remarkable socio-economic milestones, challenges like limited private sector growth, reliance on imports, and global economic pressures persist. Additionally, vital insights from development agencies often remain inaccessible to the grassroots, limiting their impact.
The BSeF bridges this gap by fostering a shared understanding of Bhutan’s economic opportunities and challenges through an engaging and action-oriented forum.
