After working for 15 years in processing green tea and receiving training from South Korea and Thailand, Dechen Pelden wants to expand and use her expertise to produce tea and non-edible products from tea leaves. With support from the Loden Foundation, she is now the proprietor of Black Mountain Organic Green Tea in Samcholing village, Trongsa district, producing one of the finest teas in the country. She proudly stands out for herself independently and for improved livelihood for her community.
