Samphel Norbu Specialised Services was established in 2020 under the Build Bhutan Project. Ugyen realized that there was an urgent need to rent scaffoldings and there were none in the market. Steel scaffoldings provides an economic and efficient alternative to bamboo and ply boards: The hiring cost is 30% cheaper and it reduces the environmental aspect of construction as the use of bamboo and ply boards create huge amounts of construction waste.
