Karma aims to establish a book café in a popular pilgrimage destination that will provide café services along with a mini-library. She will sell cakes, pastries, and local sweets that she will produce herself. She also aims to develop a nursery for growing organic ingredients.

Karma completed the baking training provided by RENEW and UNDP Bhutan.

Karma is supported through the Loden-UNDP COVID-19 Response Fund II that was targeted to provide livelihood skills and business support to vulnerable groups during the COVID-19 pandemic. This is a joint initiative between Loden Foundation, UNDP Bhutan, Bhutan YDF, and RENEW.
