Sangay aims to provide professional contract labour and orchard site management to hazelnut growers and the Mountain Hazelnut Ventures (MHV), as well as absentee landowners and farmers.
Mountain Hazelnut Ventures is in the process of developing long-term ‘best practice’ commercial orchards, which they lease from local landowners, but manage themselves. Sangay’s labour service business aims to fill the gap for operational bottlenecks such as site preparation and management systems.
