Since its inception in 1999 with the Child Sponsorship Scheme, Loden has been dedicated to supporting education. The programme began by connecting donors with children in need of school supplies. In 2008, Loden expanded to include five Early Learning Centres for preschoolers, and later introduced the Youth Scholarship Programme, offering up to Nu. 300,000 annually to help meritorious students from low-income families pursue higher education. Additionally, the Student Empowerment through Entrepreneurship Development (SEED) initiative fosters critical thinking, innovation, and enterprise in higher educational institutions.

School Sponsorship

Loden was first established as an educational charity in 1999 with the Child Sponsorship Scheme, which channeled support from generous donors to children in need of crucial support for their education, including the provision of uniforms, stationery, and other school-related expenses.

Post-school Scholarship

The Loden Youth Scholarship Programme empowers future leaders by providing up to Nu. 300,000 per year to deserving post-school students, particularly from low-income families, pursuing undergraduate or diploma studies in fields vital to Bhutan.
