Avocado Fruit sapling production

Avocados were only recently introduced in Bhutan and are still not extensively cultivated despite their increasing popularity. Many farmers turned to the cultivation of avocados as an alternative to the production of oranges. “Avocado Fruit Sapling Production” was thus created to meet a growing market and to support farmers who have either lost or moved away from orange and cardamom production.

The project is supported through Loden-DHI Fund.
